Bare Bones
After testing products from Barebones Ventures, LLC, we found six products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Barebones Ventures, LLC.
NOTICE I
On March 1, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against No Cow.
In this action, ERC alleges that 3 specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Barebones Ventures, LLC, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and a reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Bare Bones Plant-Based Soup "Cheesy" Broccoli - Lead
Bare Bones Plant-Based Soup Buffalo Cauliflower - Lead
Bare Bones Plant-Based Soup Lentil Curry - Lead
NOTICE II
