Halfday Tonics

After testing products from Halfday Tonics LLC, we found three products that we allege to violate Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Halfday Tonics LLC.


NOTICE I

On August 2, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Halfday Tonics LLC.

In this action, ERC alleges that 2 specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Halfday Tonics LLC, contain lead and mercury. Lead and mercury are chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

  1. Halfday Raspberry Iced Tea – Lead, Mercury

  2. Halfday Cranberry Iced Tea – Lead, Mercury


NOTICE II

On September 6, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Halfday Tonics LLC.

In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Halfday Tonics LLC, contains lead and mercury. Lead and mercury are chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

  1. Halfday Raspberry Iced Tea - Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)
